Only paid FBLA members will be attending the Chapter Leadership Tour at Canby High School on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009. In order to attend, you must have all dues paid and turn in completed prearranged absence form, medical release form and signed code of conduct. FBLA is having a fundraiser at Fultano's Pizza on Thursday April 2, 2009. Pick up a flier from an FBLA member and bring it to Fultano's on April 2. 20% of the night's proceeds will be donated to half FBLA attend the state conference. Must present FBLA flier at time of purchase. Wednesday 2/18 at lunch, we will be having our Regional Awards Ceremony at lunch in rm. 216. We will have pizza and snacks. Certificates will be handed out for the top 10 qualifiers in each event. There will be an FBLA meeting at lunch on Wednesday 1/14 in my classroom. We will talk about the regional test schedule and have a guest speaker from the Portland Rotary Club. She will be explaining the Enterprise Academy that is being held at the Canby Grove in February. We would like to put together a team of students to represent Canby High School. Regionals costs $15. Registration is due by December 15, 2008. You need to come see me so that we can get you signed up for 2 events. We will also be having a meeting soon to discuss regionals.
We are starting our pumpkin sale for the March of Dimes this week. Please come by my room and pick up your package of 10 pumpkins ASAP. Also, if you are available Monday after school, come by to help us decorate the FBLA pumpkin patch in senior hall.

Budget projects are due Thursday March 15th. Don't forget to meet your check in dates. The first check in date is Wednesday Feb. 29th. You need to be finished with your job, apartment and car sections.
